Hooks
A base word sits in the centre. Pick a tile from your rack, then tap the front (◁) or back (▷) slot to test whether it forms a valid new word.

Give Up! & Attempted Rounds
Tapping Give Up! ends the current round early. Every word you found still counts — the round is recorded as Attempted, scored as the number of words you found out of the total possible. Attempted rounds count fully toward your overall stats. There is no penalty for attempting.

You can permanently delete all your stats, history, and word logs in ⚙️ Settings → Reset All Data. This cannot be undone. Your data is stored only on this device.

The Goal
You receive 7 letter tiles and a board with 3–4 words already placed. Place the highest-scoring word you can find. After confirming, you see how your score compares to the Best Possible Move — plus the 2nd and 3rd best alternatives.

Placement Rules
Your word must be placed in a straight line (across or down), must connect to an existing word, must fit entirely within the 8×8 zone, and must not create any invalid crosswords. Tap a tile then tap a square — or drag and drop directly onto the board.

Bonus Squares
DL doubles a letter · TL triples a letter · DW doubles the word · TW triples the word. Bonuses only apply to tiles you place this turn.

Use all 7 tiles in a single move to earn a 50-point Bingo bonus on top of your word score.

Best Possible Move
After confirming your move the app reveals the highest-scoring legal play from your tiles. Match it to earn the ⭐ Perfect Vort badge. The 2nd and 3rd best moves are shown in separate banners so you can study the alternatives.

Every day a new puzzle is seeded from the date — everyone worldwide gets the exact same 7 tiles. Words score by rarity: Common, Uncommon, and Obscure words earn progressively more points. Choose 🧭 Explorer (Common + Uncommon words) or 📚 Scholar (Uncommon + Obscure words). Each Length + Level combination is its own unique quiz for the day. No timer — take your time.

Same daily tiles, but you're racing the clock. Each length has its own time limit. Your score when time runs out is your final result. Same format, limited time — every second counts.

Blitz Quiz
Find words of any length (2–7) from 7 tiles in 3 minutes. The more you find, the higher you score. Points are based on word rarity and length.
